Abstract:A bandgap reference is a basic unit of an analog integrated circuit that provides a voltage reference with low line regulation, low temperature coefficient, and high power supply rejection ration(PSRR). Starting from the fundamental principles of bandgap references, this paper presents the evolution and latest research advancements in bandgap reference design from two key perspectives:low-voltage operation and low temperature coefficient. It analyzes the innovations, advantages, and disadvantages of these circuits in aspects such as reducing supply voltage and improving precision. Finally,a comprehensive summary is provided based on these discussions.
